SDI offers an honest and professional, quality canine detection service for the Central Texas area. Most SDI handlers are employed with various law enforcement agencies which have State mandated training and continuing education. SDI employees are highly professional and are extensively trained in narcotic identification, interdiction, and intervention. Additionally they are highly trained to deal with situations in which an explosive device may be present. All employees have received numerous hours of training in Emergency Response.

SDI handlers also have training in the following areas: State Certified Arson Investigator, State Certified Paramedic, State Certified Police Instructor, State Certified Crime Prevention Specialist, State Certified Advanced Police Officer, State Licensed Investigators, State Licensed K-9 Handlers/Investigators, and other numerous achievements and certifications.All of our canines are certified by nationally recognized organizations, which are completely independent of our business and our business interest. We use independent and impartial certifiers to evaluate the skill of the handler and the canine before a certification is issued.With the recent actions of individuals, both in the private sector and in the schools, providing a safe workplace or place of learning has taken on renewed importance.
